Schedule Poll Command

About the command

The Schedule Poll Command lets you prepare a poll now and have EasyPoll publish it automatically at a future date and time. This is perfect for recurring events, announcements, or votes that should go live at a specific moment without you being online. You can create up to 18 custom answers just like regular polls and optionally give the poll a time limit, so it also closes automatically once it has been published.

info

Both scheduled-time and time accept several formats:

  • Natural language – e.g. tomorrow 9am, next friday 18:00, or in 2 hours.
  • Durations (time only) – e.g. 2 hours, 1 day, 1 week, or combined like 1d 7h 30m.
  • Unix timestamp – e.g. 1524405600.
  • Discord timestamp – e.g. <t:1524405600>.

scheduled-time is the absolute moment the poll goes live. time is the duration the poll runs after it has been published, so a poll scheduled for tomorrow 9am with time:3h closes three hours after it is posted.

tip

While typing, EasyPoll shows a live autocomplete preview of the resolved date and time, so you can confirm it matches what you intended before running the command. Times given without a timezone are interpreted as UTC; include an explicit timezone (like CEST or UTC+2) to override this.
