Edit Poll Command
About the command
The Edit Poll Command lets you change an existing poll without recreating it. It opens an interactive menu where you can adjust almost every part of the poll with buttons and select menus. Perfect for fixing a typo, adding a missing answer, or tweaking a poll after it has already started.
Your changes are collected in the editor and only applied once you save them, so you can review everything before it goes live.

| Option | Description | Required |
|---|---|---|
id | The ID of the poll or message to modify. | ✅ |
You can pass either the poll ID (shown in the footer of every poll) or the message ID of the poll message. While typing, EasyPoll suggests your server's polls, so you can pick one from the list.
What you can edit
- Question and the text/description shown above the poll
- Answers can be added, removed, renamed or given a different emoji
- Poll type lets you pick a poll type or set up a custom visibility (once the poll has votes, only more private options are offered)
- Max choices sets how many answers each member may pick
- Allowed roles restrict who is allowed to vote
- Allow vote removal decides whether members may take their vote back
- Colors are the embed colors for each poll state and the button color
- Image is the image displayed with the poll
Some options can't be changed once a poll has votes. For example, the poll type can then only become more private, because people voted under the old settings. Options that are not possible are not offered.
